to a trip down memerie lane to paly this and it gave me so many flashbacks wish there was a third installment to the series

It's hard to tell what happened with so little information provided, but it's probably because your browser is deleting temporary internet files, which include the game saves. I can't do much about that on my end, but there is a save backup system that lets you keep your progress as a string of text that you can save however you like.
